Recording Sync Was Interrupted

What to do if a prayer recording did not finish syncing to your phone.

Short answer

Most pairing and sync issues can be improved by keeping the ring close to your phone, checking Bluetooth permissions, reopening the app, and syncing again.

Before you begin

  • Make sure the ring is paired with the Glorify app and has enough battery.
  • Record in a place where your voice is clear and background noise is limited.
  • Keep your phone nearby when possible so the recording can sync back to Journal reliably.

What to do

  1. Charge the ring and keep it close to your phone.
  2. Turn Bluetooth on and allow the Glorify app to use Bluetooth or nearby devices.
  3. Open the Glorify app and follow the pairing or sync flow.
  4. If the ring is not found, restart Bluetooth, reopen the app, and try again.
  5. If it still fails, collect your phone model, app version, and screenshots for support.

What to expect

When connection is working, the app should be able to find the ring, show current status, and complete sync or update steps without repeated manual retries. Temporary delays can happen when Bluetooth reconnects.

Important notes

  • Voice Prayer Journal stores prayer recordings and transcriptions in your private Journal.
  • Supported transcription languages in the current source documents are English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean.
  • Prayer recordings and Journal entries can be personal. Review privacy and consent expectations before recording around other people.

Contact support if the steps above do not match what you see or the issue continues after basic checks.

Include:

  • Your order email or Glorify account email
  • Your order number if the question is order-related
  • Your phone model and operating system if the question is app-related
  • Your Glorify app version and ring firmware version if visible
  • A short description of what happened and what you already tried

You can reach support at support@glorify.global. Contact support right away if a recording does not appear after the ring reconnects and the app syncs, or transcription repeatedly fails for clear recordings in a supported language, or you have a privacy or consent concern about a recording.
